Lots of stalls selling souvenirs and memorabilia but some of them are little over priced. Not sure if one needs to bargain/haggle to bring the prices down. The food court had some nice stalls and great food.

Not too bad if you're after some cheap souvenirs. Seeing all the markets, indoors, was interesting, and had a lot of food to purchase also. But, once you've seen it once, is a little "been there, done that".

Nice to walk around in here because there is air conditioner keeping you out of hot sunshine outdoor. But if you always travel among southeast asia, you can find all the stuff here.

The Central Market is situated in an attractive Art Deco building and is well worth a visit. Stalls are on more than one floor and it is a good place to find those last minute souvenirs or presents. Yes there are some stalls selling "tat"...but unlike the nearby Chinatown street market, there are some quality goods to be found including... More

It used to be better years ago...now most of the shops sell the same old tired range of products. Still the tourisr souvenirs are of a better quality than those bought in Chinatown where goods are very shoddy and sell at the same or even higher prices! The prices in the air conditioned market itself are better than in the... More

Most of the shops in here are fixed price. There are many souvenir shops, but also there are shops selling top of the range products, i.e. leather goods, watches, etc. Restaurants are good, and there is nice "non-hassle" ambience about the Market. After Chinatown, which is near-by, it is pleasant to be able to wander around at one's leisure.

I have been to markets of this kind all over that world and this is has no surprise at all. Most shops carry the same stuff, batik, sarongs, clothing, bags, wood carvings, pewter, and what not... nothing too cultural about it but I guess it is still worth a visit. One thing good about it is that the whole market... More

Worth a browse. Heaps of souvenirs from Malaysia, China & India to choose from that sell the usual local arts & craft & ethnic jewellery. Lots of stalls selling similar wares. Plenty of food & drink options. Fish feet massage etc. Short walk to Petaling St Chinatown. Nearest rail station is Pasar Seni Station a short walk away.

Majority of the stalls selling similar items. Mainly plastic watches, purses, handbags, toys, bracelets etc. Great if that's what you like but not for culture lovers.
