We hit a night where a jazz group was playing. Fine hot licks for $5 a person! Our Ashland friends say that the music dept offers enjoyable concerts throughout the year.

I really love this campus for walks. The tree-count is high, the paths take you on gentle ups and downs, the noise factor is quite low considering that the population is mostly young, the glued-to-smartphone-and-walking-into-you factor is not high - all together a lovely place to take a midday/lunchtime stroll. parking was not the easiest. But really enjoyed the spirit of the game and the students were extremely well behaved and appropriate. Nice time

What more could you ask for? This University is picturesque with expansive green lawns, lush landscaping and a friendly campus and town. It is located close to town where you can walk to restaurants and activities.

Imagine a college where skiing is less than 30 minutes away, a Tony award winning theatre is 5 minutes away and the town of Ashland offers an abundance of culture, wonderful food and wonderful people.

This small but mighty college is a boon to Ashland. Very friendly and easy to tour the campus. Even though it is on the main street through town, once you are on the campus you feel removed from hustle and noise. Great small college.

very diverse school. so much to choose from. I have taken community ed classes like writing and enjoy going to lectures that are open to the public. also the music dept. puts on some dynamite shows.

SOU is a small university in a small town. Nevertheless it has a top rated music, choral and drama department. It has a beautiful campus in a beautiful setting.

This trip was to drop my daughter off at college. The check-in at the dorms were smooth and inviting; we were all shown around the dorm, but the focus was on the incoming students. I was impressed with them NOT attempting to impress the parents.
