Pick the play you want and attend one a day. Unless you are a realy play person two in a day are too much. Very professional acting and great venue inside or out.

We were quite disappointed by the performance of As You Like It. Perhaps we had too high expectations from all the great reviews of Ashland performances. It was in a modern setting, with a KFC bucket as one of the star attractions (really!!) and a rock band for music. There were also a few liberties taken with the dialogue. We...

Correction for readers: the play that Whistledown attended was not As You Like It. We are not performing that this season. It was The Taming of the Shrew in the Angus Bowmer Theatre, and it runs until November 4.

We were lucky enough to get tickets to Street Car Name Desire! It was wonderful, the acting, the actress that was Blanch was amazing. The entire cast was terrific too! One of our friends that typically naps during plays after dinner was engaged and totally alert during the performance. The staging was wonderful and the small intimate theatres are wonderful,...

We saw "My Fair Lady" and didn't particularly care for the director's style, but the acting and costumes were wonderful. The price is too high for the value, but our whole experience in lovely Ashland was so positive, it was worth it. We fell in love with Ashland and Oregon and look forward to returning - perhaps for a theatrical...

Updated version, with a boardwalk setting - very fun! The set was colorful and the live band was fantastic!
We attended our first play in the mid-1990s at the Festival. Got hooked and have been members and attended nearly every year since. Not only have we seen great Shakepeare productions but many others including musicals, comedys, dramas and more. Just attended Street Car Named Desire, King Lear, Taming of the Shrew. Three theater venues including one outdoor theater open...

The production of Lear at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival is quite possibly the single finest production I've seen, and I've lived a long life in theatre as an actress, playwright, and professor of performance studies. All the characters in this production believe completely in their objectives and pursue them as if their lives depend on it; the production is beautifully...

The heart of Ashland, it really is a special place even if you don't like the show. The care and support of the festival participants year after year is amazing. I love theater so I bias but I think every Oregonian should experience the Oregon Shakespeare Festival as least one in their life.
My partner and I go twice a year at least to the Shakespeare festival. There is no bad seat in the house in any of the theaters. We usually buy the cheap tickets and because the theaters are small and built well we still really enjoy the shows. They have many amazing actors and have both Shakespeare and Non-Shakespeare plays...

I first went to plays at Ashland's OSF in 1970. My how they've aged well! I am now a member, and we make the 6-hour drive at least once a year. The quality is astounding!
