We've been going to Esther's Follies for at least 15 years and are amazed at how creative and consistently fresh their shows are. The writing sparkles and the magician is wickedly funny. I could literally go every two or three months!

Everyone should go to Esther's to get a feel of fun and sassy and 6th street. If you live here , they need to rethink some of the 'old standards"

Austin's motto is "Keep Austin Weird" and Ester's Follies certainly does it's best to uphold that. It is weird, hilarious, unexpected, witty, and the best political satire ever. It is a very, very, casual atmosphere and be prepared to laugh til you cry. I've been several times and it's always new, surprising, and just as funny as ever.

This is a great show. As another reviewer stated, the humor compares to shows you would see in Chicago (Second City) or other large cities. It's part political satire part musical comedy part magic show. My daughter and I laughed so hard our faces hurt for hours. The show is not PC and definitely not PG.
