as far as we understood this isone of the biggest hydroelectric power plant. it was quite interesting visiting it. recomended if you have some free days in iguazu area

This hydro plant is so huge and the power supply generated by the supply of water stored in the Lake is so large it is unreal and unbelievable to comprehend.

The dam is very interesting and takes about 2 hours to see all of it with the tour and movie about how it was built. The facts and figures about the water in the reservoir behind the dam will astound you!

I'd suggest you take at least the special tour so that you get a glimps of inside of the hydro-plant. Not cheap but worth a visit. Book you tickets in advance.

This is a great attraction. Of course, this is not the main attraction in iguacu region, but if you have a half day free, it worth to visit. It is so big, everything is impressive. Guides were nice and explained well.
