“Worth a stop over heading back to Turpan from Gaochang”

There are 3 tombs open here. One has 2 mummies in, and the other two have paintings on the walls. The cost for this is only 20Y and well worth the 20 minutes you will spend here. There are no photos allowed but the lighting inside allows a good view of the mummies and the murals even though the glass/plastic... More
