We went there but we couldnt see much because of the excessive mist and due to peak season alot of crowd

It is nice place to relax and have you lunch. Beautiful place to visit. need government permission. not many visit this place so it generally less crowded compared to other places of visit at kodaikanal.

For reaching this place you need special permission from the forest department. The way to this lake is via forest and the scenic beauty is excellent. It is worth the time to travel the extra distance.

Though there is nothing delightful at Berijam lake, but the journey to it was quite remarkable. You would love the drive... :-)

Berijam Lake is the main attraction of Kodaikanal. The lake is long and clean enough even without a maintanence. Lake is surrounded by dense forest. An idle place to hang out with friends.

entry to berijam lake is restricted and requires permission from govt officials. even though we may have our own vehicle it is better to hire a local taxi for the trip as they alone know how and when they could get the permit. its a 2hr drive with 5 stops for viewing which are really good each are so different... This was amazing, its located amidst of forest and you can feel pure air and cool breeze here. You need to plan atleast a day in advance for the forest tour and this one will be during the end of tour.

The Berijam Lake View is the best from high-up in the hills. The entry to this lake is disallowed and hence one can only just "see" the lake. Nonetheless it's a beautiful lake, calm and serene.
