At first,I did not know what to expect at first. But overall it was fun.Our tour guide show us all kind of hiding places and traps that the Viet Cong warriors used during the war.The interesting ones are one that could hide directly under ground by coming into a small hole.We climbed tunnels about 2-3 floors for about 15 minutes and... We bought our package from Viet travel online and (Mei) the person we liaised with was helpful and honest. Price was reasonable as well. Gives a very good insight on life during the war from the Vietnamese point of view.. Our tour guide for the day Mr Bean was a war vet who had so many wonderful stories to share. More

We had a private car and driver. The trip from HCMC was fine, about an hour and we stopped at a rubber plantation, and even stopped at a roadside stall selling rats and snakes as fresh food.....Hmmmm. They say, if it moves, the Vietnamese will eat it. The DVD presentation at Cu Chi was really good, but typically full of... More

We went there because of the good reviews at TripAdvisor and I was interested in the Vietnam War. We went with a half day tour group (very well known tourist company) and we couldn't be more disappointed. The bus trip took almost an hour (view was great though), and upon arrival we saw nothing but tourists. We were expecting some... More

I am claustrophobic so I don't really fancy it. I took the half day tour to go see it only because among all the other tours to other parts of Vietnam, this one is the shortest about 1 1/2 hour bus ride. I wont say it is a must see, it is definitely interesting, you learn about the history and... More

We were very impressed with the tunnels, we had plan of going there because there is so much history. It is quite impressive seeing all the traps, the documentary on the war and most of all the tunnels. You can actually go down the tunnels, and it is quite an experience to be there and see a little more how... More

Cu Chi tunnel is part of history on Vietnam. It was about an hour from Ho Chi Minh City by tourist van. Crawling into the tunnel (if you can) gives you a real experience how people lived and survived. We went to the second level then out. These seems forever... and I was so glad when we came out. I... Cu chi tunnels are very interesting because one understands what went down a bit better when it comes to the famous infamous Vietnam War. Its a very extensive area and it´s best not be in a hurry when visitng. The above ground complex is obvious built for tourist and there is no denying the history of the place and if... More

I booked this tour through the hotel (The Legend hotel) the cost was 693,000 Dong which is around $32 AUD, so they picked us up at 7:30am there were 4 of us in total an it took 1 and half hours to get there. Our guide was great he knew what he was talking about and answered all questions that... More
