It is a shopping & dining area special for tourists in Bintan. But very few tourists go there shopping. The resturants are good. I tried Bintan Idol serving West & Indonesian food. Food was delicious and services were quite good. Esp. a waiter named Falan, very hospitable, skilled & friendly.

It was awful, dirty and delapidated. We were over it in the first 5 minutes and stuck there for an hour and a half waiting for a bus back

This is a small shopping village on the island. Your resort will most likely have a shuttle to this location. From the Norther resorts it is about a 15 minute bus ride.
The village has souvenirs, basic food, snack, and hygiene supplies that are cheaper than your resort shop. The souvenirs tended to be a little cheaper and the polo...

We had dinner at Warung Bumbu across the road from the main Pasar Oleh-Oleh shops and were very impressed with the food. They were delicious, fresh and very reasonably priced compared to the resorts and the other restaurants at Pasar Oleh-Oleh. We had very nice sate kambing with peanut and soy sauce, as they should be. The kangkong was delicately...

Pasar Oleh-oleh simply means a market for souvenirs. However, everything is priced in SGD and most are quite expensive. Good thing we found this shop near the wishing well that sells quality key chains & fridge magnets. Because we bought a lot, the shopkeeper gave us huge discounts :) Also, one can find cheaper spas, meals and deals for tours...

Finished touring the market in 30min. Mostly are shops selling display items, artifacts and ladies accessories. Food and Spa are no doubt way cheaper than resort. This is the only shopping area as the main town/city is 1.5hrs away from the resort.

Gone once, unlikely to visit a second time. Pasar Oleh Oleh consists of a small number of shops, selling souvenirs and local snacks. Go there if you'd like to get the usual cake lapis or keropok. Rather pricey, you know they definitely blew up the prices since 100% of their customers are tourists. Other than that, it'd be more worthwhile...

Small market place with a couple of provision and souvenir shops and some local cafes. Good to venture to for stocking up on snacks and bites like cup noodles. We ate dinner at Cafe Idol and it was definitely cheaper than dining in the hotels. Food was decent and there was a band that kept serenading us with Chinese songs...
