i went diving with B&J diving and i wasnt that impressed i have to admit. yes the gear was fine and everything was well organised. even the price was ok. but the diveguides were not good at all, they showed me 1 bluespotted stingray in 6 dives, so i had to find all the good stuff (ie nudibranchs) myself. and... The B&J Diving Centre was very professionally run. All equipment needed were adequately stocked, well maintained and looked new. All Diving Instructors (Darren, Sammi, Adam, Rama etc) were professional and friendly. The Diving Centre Manager (Darren) answered all my questions that I put forward. Since I am Rescue Diver, he briefed me on PADI Specialty Scuba Courses that I could... More

This is by far the most professional dive shop that i have ever dived with. All though I am only an amateur diver with around twenty five dives, I have already managed to dive in six different countries and with ten different dive shops and boats. The crew at B&J represents a truly warm and hartfelt way of being very... More

There are several good dive centers on Tioman, but I would recommend B&J to anyone after diving with these guys for 4 fantastic days! They have 2 big boats that can take up to 12 divers and a very proessional setup and plenty of good equipment. I did my "Deep Diver & Nitrox" PADI course with Darren (4 dives) and... More

I was lucky to get AJ as instructor, who not only knew the waters around Tioman perfectly well, but was also watched after aquatic life and was most patient with everyone in the group. The dive centre is run by Helen and her crew, everyone is very helpful, the equipment is good (according to my humble opinion as a beginner)... More

Had a great experience with B&J Diving Centre when I went to do my basic Open Water Diver course with them. The instructor we had was Sammi Mills, who was very experienced, patient and friendly. Even though we had a class of six on the first day, she was able to handle all the novices without anyone feeling lost or... More

One whole week of nothing but waking up, eating, diving, sleeping. B&J dive master Hamka was wonderful and he is Malaysian. There are others of course but I like to see a local business have locals to run it, but I digress. The price of diving is reasonable. The diving is limited to 50 minutes or 750 psi. Hamka did... As a family we have dived with B&J a number of times and the kids have taken various certificates. What sets B&J apart is the quality of their dive instructors. Despite quite a regular turnover, Martin always manages to get great replacements and this visit was no exception. Unfortunately, some of the instructors have a tendency to go native as... More

We have just been to Tioman Island to do an Open Water Padi course we could not be happier with the instruction and service we received at B & J Dive Centre. From our first contact via email to them arranging our accomodation at the very nice Tioman House located next to the Dive centre. Value for money was fantastic. More
