This is a much better maintained site than the Niah caves near Miri, and seeing tens of thousands of bats flying out of Deer Cave for the night is a true once-in-a-lifetime experience. More

Here, i'd like to give a bit of information on how to go about a cost-saving trip to Mulu. First of all, you need to book your air ticket online . You don't need to go through travel agent which may charge a little bit more for their service. Rather, you can travel on your own or with your friends...here's... More

This has to be one of the best holidays I have been on. These caves are truly magical! We completed some of the adventure caving while we were there, these are a must if you have the fitness. Turtle Cave was by far my favourite as you experience Clearwater Cave by wading and swimming through the internal river. I wouldn't... More

It was a fantastic natural creation. You will get nice photographs and a beautiful view of the valleys. Nicely maintained for tourists. More

not for the weak hearted, as you'll need to walk through the forest after sunsets (in darkness, as no torch is permitted), after the tour of the caves. sight of the horde of bats going for the meal is enchanting, though the smell may be provoking to some. not a good adventure for young toddlers. best enjoyed by those in... We enjoyed our experience at the 4 show caves: Deer, Langs, Clearwater and Cave of the Wind. The Garden of Eden River and Valley walk starts with a 3.8km walk to Deer Cave, and goes off trail onto the boulders (covered by moss and bat poo from 3 million bats!), into the water of the Pool of Eden, and running... I did the 'Fast Lane' Cave, Clearwater Cave, Deer Cave, Wind Cave and Lang Cave. All the tours were great and the guides were very knowledgable. I must admit though I was all caved out by the end of my 3 days 2 night. All the caves were amzing each in their own way, and Deer cave was overwhelming in... More

There are so many many caves at Mulu to explore but since we traveled with our 2 boys aged 4 and 6, we stuck to just the show caves which include the Deer Cave, the Lang Cave, the Wind Cave and the Clearwater Cave. These caves are so easy and comfortable to visit. No problem for the kids except to... More
