In order to visit the Sumaging Cave, you must stretch first and take a deep breath. To finish the whole task would take 3-4 hours. the first stage of the cave, which is the most slippery is the hardest, most especially because you are hiking going down. the second stage is the best. the rocks are no longer slippery and... Great rock formations! Quite fun going through the rocks and water. Slippery in the first part though. Got a friend who busted her nose when she slipped and hit a rock. Guides were great and I love that they are really trying to preserve the natural beauty of the cave. The guides were picking up trash that some people have... More

Lumiang-Sumaguing cave connection. My cousin and I thought that the activity will be a simple one, we're imagining of a simple walk in a cave, saw some cave creatures that lurks and just experience how would it feels like inside. but we got one hell of an adventure that we never expected, it was one of the best exhausting activity... One thing I like Sumaguing Cave is less sharp stones overhead compared to other caves I explored. Rock formations are not slippery, nice to pose on top of it. The flowing water inside is so cool. Nice to experience the risk while exploring the deep and surviving the trek! More

We did the Sumaguing-Lumiang Cave connection. It was my 1st caving experience and it turn out to be super fun! I love doing things with a bit of danger ;) This adventure is not for the faint of heart. We saw some people backing out when we were there. But don't worry, the guides will always make sure everyone in... More

The Sumaguing Cave is a good way to test one's self. spirits are high for those who have finished the course. It challenges a person until what extent he or she can go further. The guides are very good and make sure you are safe all the time. More

Very popular place. Truly new experience. Exciting and adventurous way to do caving. Not really for young children and old people. Tour guides are unbelievable (contact Saggas - John or Aldrich) More

It was very strenuous (and a bit stressful) going down the cave. It was very dark & slippery (coz of the limestone) so we had to be really careful going down. Going up was much easier. There are some interesting rock formations to see. I enjoyed the hike to & from the cave more than the actual caving. More

What to wear: Denim Shorts, non-slippery sandals, Tshirts. Be prepared to get wet. Leave your bags behind. Bring a waterproof camera if possible. The trek to the cave is not very long, but the trek back uphill is tiring. There are three levels in the cave, The first is the slippery level (very slippery indeed) There are harmless bats inside...
