While it is not really shaped like a square, and some may even consider it to be too big for a square, this is a lovely square to walk in. The square offers the two famous Secretariat buildings, fountains, lawns – and even some monkeys (in the park between one of the fountains and the south block building). It's a... More

The square is surrounded by magnificent buildings occupied by the government. Worth a stop by if you're in the vicinity. The atmosphere ,the feeling that at we are at the place where 26th Jan parade takes place here. The avenue is lined on both sides by huge lawns, canals and rows of trees. Considered to be one of the most... More

There is nothing much to see other than to visualise the grandeur of past and it becomes lively during the national holidays. The surrounding scenery looks nice in the heart of the bustling city.

The Chowk is an intersection of roads outside of Rastrapati bhawan. the republic day parade ends here. You can take a walk here and see the gardens.

The square in front of Rashtrapati Bhavan and Rajpath starts from Vijay Chowk, a place you will come across on any drive of New Delhi where you make your way down Minto Road from the government buildings towards India Gate which is one mile away. Its is also the place where the closing ceremony for Independence Day takes place.

this is a Must visit place in Delhi. this road connects india gate with Rashtrapathi bhavan, Parliament building, North and south block buildings. Don't miss the sprawling park where you can take long walk and esp enjoy winters. note that parking is a issue. you may have to park your car in lanes of India Gate or better take a... More

Vijay chowk is on the way to my office. When ever you pass this place you have to "pause" for a few seconds ... and .......feel refreshed and rejuvenated. This is where you have beating retreat every year in Jan..
