To be seen. Relaxing, interesting and simply beautiful. Many location to visit and to try around this place to eat, to have shopping, to meet people, to relax, to remain surprized. Good for turism. It offers one of the most beautiul views and aspects of Mumbai. More

Unfortunately the Gateway in Mumbai, which fronts the Taj Mahal Hotel, was the entry point for a gang of terrorists who bombed the hotel a few years ago. As a result, you cannot roam around freely, there are barricades, but it is a historical site, now more than ever More

The Gateway of India is actually smaller than one feels it in the pictures. Or maybe, its plain overcrowded. Amazing history here, made all the more so by the terrorist bombings of Mumbai in recent years. Bustling vibrant part of the wonderful city of Mumbai. New visitors to India will never cease to be amazed if they go with an open mind and leave their prejudices at home! More

A must see, but it will just be for a photo.... Avoid early mornings as the navy generally are around the monument so if you want to get close, go a bit later in the day More

A short walk from our Hotel. We visited there in the day and night. was quite safe. You can get your picture taken and printed on the spot (they walk around with these mini printers) . Close to beaches. Opposite the famous Taj Hotel. More
