When we first moved here, we drove for hours trying to find this. I am a history major in Grad school, so I love anything historic. We had driven by it at least six times! I love what it represents- the South will always turn lemons into lemonade!

Not a whole lot to say here, it is a monument dedicated to the towns history. If you go through the middle of town you will run straight into it. Has an interesting story with it, but other than that there is not a whole lot to say. If you like monuments then and history, then have fun.

You really have to see this incredible statue and understand its history. It is right smack in the middle of town - you can't miss it and you can pick up a brochure at the historical society or many other places to learn of the importance of the boll weevil to the quaint town.

It is a must when in Enterprise Alabama to at least drive around the monument and pay homage to the Boll Weevil.. who has had a rough go of it since DDT.. Always an educational visit...

Just like everything else in Enterprise, the Boll Weevil monument is extremely dull. It is sad that it's even considered an attraction. Don't bother.

It was unusual and there was a great story behind the statue. It was very clean and downtown in a quaint town. It was a very well manitained town and people were very friendly.

I happen to drive by it ever once in a while. It's a statue with the boll weevil on the top, whole thing is about 8 ft tall. I'd hate to say it, but there's nothing special about it.

The title says it all. It is a monument about the Boll Weevil. If you're in the area you may as well drive by and see it. Otherwise, don't go out of your way.

Nothing to it. Just a silver painted statue with something on top. Not worth the trip. Better to go to the Army Aviation Museum and stay on US 231 on the way to the beach.
