Nice little museum, well laid out and just the right size. Special exhibits of glass and photography we beautifully displayed. Well worth the visit.

My wife and I went here a little while back. We were not expecting a whole lot but was surprised. It was entertaining. I am glad we went. We would definitely go back from time to time.
The monumental rock and roll photos were just that. Iconic. Larger than life- just like the subjects. I didn't realize this was a current exhibit so it was like a secret bonus! the Huntsville Museum of Art maintains an interesting array of artwork for the casual visitor to peruse. Displays are periodically changed or updated to assure one's long-term interest; this is a good way to spend an afternoon
Haven't seen anything too special to offer here. It is a nice Museum but hasn't had any show stopping art that would keep me coming back for more. If you are in the area for a short time, this attraction can be marked off the list.

For a smaller museum they usually have an interesting display and most things are rotated often so you want to go back. They have recently expanded and I have not been since the expansion.
It is a nice building and has some nice pieces, but it is very small and for the size it is expensive. Used to have a free day, but that has been discontinued. The exhibits change, and sometimes they have something special, but the ongoing exhibits tend to be more modern.
Wonderful museum. I went to expressly see Sloan Bibb's Exhibit. I felt that I was seeing a future Rauschenberg or Braque. If you can see this before it ends.
This is an enjoyable placed to visit in Huntsville. There were very few people here taking advantage of the art. It took my husband and myself about an 1 1/2 hours of taking our time to view everything. If you go to the art museum eat at their resturant down stairs, Pane e Vino. They have great pasta and pizza.
