Have used the station many times and it is getting better everytime. More shops and restaurants are coming into the station, which is making it a better place to stay before your departure. very clean and well maintained at the moment.

Great, but beware. The toilets we visited were squat toilets and no paper anywhere. BRING YOUR OWN PAPER!

The ticket is so cheap compared to airplanes, the trip is totally calm and the system is very compromised to its schedules. Loved it

Hongqiao is easily reached by the underground train system and has modern amenities very similar to any modern airport terminal. Waiting areas are large with plenty of seating. Large electronic boards clearly showed departure times and gateway numbes. Directions were in English as well as Chinese. We had no trouble finding our way around this wonderful station.

The high speed trains in China are great. Hongqiao is a great starting point with its convenient access to the entire city and airport. Loading of the trains is very efficient. Overall, a great travel experience.

The Station is so well planned , neat and clean with all signs very clear . Well connected to all Metro Trains and Taxi stand

My first impression is WOOOOOOW!! It's very huge and very convenience. Very clean and easy to find direction. You won't get lost. English friendly hahaha. Yup, for me, cannot read or speak chinese, it's very helpful. Must visit again.

When u arriving at the train station just grab a map of Shanghai from Info desk in main hall just for 5RMB, make sure you get one map per person as if you plan to get on the BIG BUS Tour it giving you 30RMB discount.
