great show which showcase acrobats in different forms. Hair raising stunts at times, but well worth travelling out to this part of town.

What an amazing show this was! The audience was mainly westerners but that didn't matter - it was an amazing experience. I first heard of this Circus in National Geographic, and they were not wrong!!!! Take your self here if you have nothing to do!
Went to the circus during short stay in shanghai and had a great evening. It was a fantastic show and all performers look like they really enjoy every minute on stage. Should not be compared to Cirque du Soleil but well worth the money to see. Tickets range from $20, $35, $50 + AUD. We paid $35 and were very...

Many compare this to Cirque de Soleil which is unfair as this is quite different and with an obvious oriental flavour. Some of the stunts were simply breathtaking and was nice to see humour injected too. The performers play to the crowd well to encourage participation.
Somebody wrote below that this show is a must-see in Shanghai and I completely agree with that. The visual effects are maybe not as sophisticated as Cirque du Soleil but tje acrobatic show is as good. The show duration is 2x 45 minutes and I never got bored. The subway station is just next door so you cannot miss it.
While planning my vacation in Shanghai I saw that the ERA/Shanghai Circus World had a high rating, so I decided to go. As another reviewers said, there is a metro stop called "Shanghai Circus world", from the metro exit you can see the building on your right side, so I just walked toward that building. On the same day of...

On May 31, 2013, my husband and I took our 5 and 8 year old children to the Circus, and both children said it was the most amazing performance they had ever seen, though after the show my daughter did ask where were the lions and tigers. Throughout the entire show we all sat mesmerized by the mind-blowing/body bending feats...

Went to this show in Shanghai 3 days ago, to round off a 2-week China/Tibet tour with 17 others - only 5 of us went to this Circus as it was our last night and we were all tired... but I wasn't remotely tired at the end - I was buzzing! The strength, control and beauty of these athletic artistes'...

This show was well worth the money! We got the cheapest ticket (120RMB) - the view was still good. Since it was mid-week, the show wasn't full and we moved to some better seats. We just got the tickets on the door, staff spoke English well. The sow was 2 x 45minutes with a 10minutes break.
My wife, 9 year old daughter and I all enjoyed this show. Similar to a Cirque du Soleil show or the House of Dancing Water show in Macau, just without the water.
