Baldi is well known for its large multiple hot springs pools. Has some nice restaurant areas as well. Also has a hotel. Some pools are off limits. You get a nice buffet with your stop there. You can rent a small locker and rent towels as well. But they take in everyone, especially tour buses for brief stops. Many Americans... More

Hot springs are well-maintained and very resort-feeling. The food is decent, but I recommend eat quickly and get into the warm springs.

We went there during low season and we liked relaxing in the hot pools during a heavy rain. This place is much cheaper than the other options, I cannot compare as I did not try the others but can tell than this one worth the money ($35 for afternoon and dinner). It is big, clean and enjoyable. Drinks are expansive.... More

We stopped at Baldi Hot Springs after a day to see the Arenal volcano. Much to our surprise there were a lot of hot springs, all which have different temperatures. It was a beautiful site! When you walk further, there were three slides that you can go down into a warm pool. These three slides had the speed of an... More

We got a package deal for a visit that included the buffet and the hot springs admission. To be clear: my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Baldi Hot Springs and appreciated the multiple pools of varying temperature. The place seemed fairly high-class and was appropriately maintained. There was lively Latin music playing at one of the pools that included... More

I visited Baldi Hot Springs resort after ziplining and on the way we stopped at a lookout point to view the Arenal Volcano and then continued on to the resort. To be completely honest, this wasn't my cup of tea. While the resort was very pretty, it's a resort. It consists of a series of pools and swim-up bars sprawled... More

Fantastic place! Great choice of different pools, with water from cold to hot; lot of flowers and gardens everywhere, good swim up bars with excellent cocktails, everything made for pleasure. Will go back again!

We stopped here for day, and it was such a great experience! The atmosphere is welcoming and tropical... not to mention absolutely beautiful! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful lunch in the restaurant when you first walked in, which was delicious! After eating, we explored the resort and had many drinks at one of the... More

When I read reviews to find which of the many hot springs was the best or most recommended, I placed Baldi low on the list because I got the impression that it was hyped up by hotels and tour companies who were receiving a kick back. I also read that it would loud and party central. Maybe all that is... More

This was a very very welcome end to a long day of hiking. The grounds were very nice, lots of different temp's in the pools, and the buffet dinner was very good. just needed a pillow for the pool and could have stayed in all night!
