They charged us 20$ a person for a waterfall that can barely be seen. Everything was very bland and all we did was drive 20 minutes up a mountain, paid, walked 10 minutes to see a waterfall in the distance then left. WORST PLACE EVER!!!

As a part of a Celebrity shore excursion, stopped for lunch and a few hours at the Gardens. Wonderful lunch, great options, great service. Really took pride in thier piece of our day. Very nice visits with the garden owners David and Cindy. Transplanted Texans, so our travel buddies had a good time visiting about "being from" Texas. We FINALLY...

This is a fantastic attraction with large dining area, store, and beautiful gardens. Takes at least one hour to see all the grounds and waterfalls. Would recommend when in the area of Jaco, Costa Rica. We filled up three large buses with cruise folks and had plenty of room to explore the gardens. Met the owner who was very pleasant...

We had a very interesting ride up the mountain road, the road was under construction and we had some very anxious moments when the bus got hung up in the gravel and there were some very steep drop offs over the side of the road.
Once we got to the gardens, the place was was truly beautiful, many paths and...

It is a long, winding road up to Pura Vida Gardens but really worth it. The gardens are beautiful with many different species of plants and flowers. The sighting of two colorful parrots was the highlight. The area is perfectly kept with lovely walkways and well-maintained steps.
We recently had the pleasure to visit these gardens on a tour from a cruise ship and found them to be absolutely beautiful. The perfectly manicured gardens, paths and lookouts are so lovely that we could have spent the whole day there. Our tour guide was very knowledged on the trees, flowers and habits of the vegetation which was so...

We drove the several kms up a dirt road arriving at the gardens 1 1/2 hours before closing and they wanted to charge us $40 to walk around for one hour. Very expensive even for a few hours. They had no visitors and a big for sale sign up. I am not surprised. We wouldn't recommend this trip.
I don't often respond to visitors comments. The few comments that are negative, I use as a tool
to improve our services and beauty. By far and large, all comments are great and I enjoy getting
those comments. This reviewer said it was a "Rip Off" and he didn't even enter the gardens. The entry fee of $20.00 per person...

not only are the gardens and the food excellent, but I saw no less than thirteen scarlet macaws there.
Since we went in February (the dry season) the rest of the "rainforest" wasn't very "rainy" and looking pretty sad. So the gardens were a welcomed sight and we were able to get the idea of what the forest looks like when the rains come. Had a wonderful lunch there and saw such beautiful sights including Scarlet Macaws flying through...

I enjoyed the gardens very much. The flowers, trees, views were fabulous. The waterfall was a bit far away - but you could see it. Lunch was delicious.
