Although we were here on a beautiful sunny day, and the view going up and from the tower was spectacular, for what you get, this is a very expensive trip. $31 per person for about a 5 minute tram ride is ridiculous. The trails were closed due to mud and snow on the ground, the lone eagle on display looked... More

We took the tram up in the rain, but it cleared while we were there. What a view. Enjoyed the film provided in the visitor center. Honor was the gal in the film area and she and I chated for a bit. She was a local and chatted about her growing up there (interesting-thank you). We enjoyed the gift shop... More

This was the worst part of an otherwise FANTASTIC Alaska cruise. Admission was a whopping $31 per person, and they didn't bother to tell us that all of the trails were closed. The restaurant was also closed (and didn't look appealing anyway). Our group of four adults was only interested in walking some of the trails...so in summary, we paid... More

This was one of the reasons why I wanted to go to Juneau to ride the tram. However just as we were getting on the plane we were told by someone who lived here to not do it as it was expensive and not really worth it. It would have been nice to go up there being it was 83... More

Mt. Roberts tramway is a the ideal way to view Juneau and the adjacent waterways without booking a plane. The trip takes only a short time, but the views are fantastic!...

We went on a wet foggy day so the views were very hard to see. The weather had cleared a little on our return back down so we saw a little more. Had a nice hot chocolate to warm up with . Staff were friendly place was clean and tidy good atmosphere. Nice little gift shop to browse in.

This is a must-do in Juneau, and we enjoyed it a lot. The views were fabulous. I really enjoyed the cute shop at the top and the museum attached to it, and most of us were also taken by the rescued eagle that is on display (occasionally). Overall, well worth the money.

This was enjoyable, the view was great. Leave time for the nature center....otherwise it is an expensive ride.

If you're in port on one of the cruise ships and want to "kill" an hour, this is a good thing to do. We could view an eagle's nest from atop the mountain, and they have a rather sad sickly looking female bald eagle who had been shot in the beak. The crafts at the top of the mountain are... More

We had absolutely stunning weather when we went up.The views are spectacular.A short walk will take you up to various lookout points where the cruise ships and port can be seen.Restaurant and gift shop are also located at the top.Well worth the $31.00 fee.
