I didn't have an opportunity to go into the museum, but I enjoyed having tea and cake in the garden. I walked around the garden a bit, which was pleasant. The service was nice as well. I'll return with a few friends next time.

Gives a wonderful glimpse of the 19th century grandeur and results of hard work by an SA pioneer. We had a very fact filled educational tour with helpful guides. Not to be missed by locals and foreigners alike.

What a charming place, to see how the rich of bygone times have lived. This gentleman even had a room in the house where woman were not aloud to disturb them in playing billiard and discussion politics of the day. There are also a small herb garden and one can have tea there

Have visited S.A. many times and Sammy Marks Museum is one of those places I return to each time, and I never tire of doing so.The house is awsome and the tour guide is one of the best I have ever encountered. The gardens are beautiful and the food served in these wonderful surroundings is fabulous. Will go back again.

We... More

It like walking into a second hand shop, nothing to write home about and the employees would rather be at home than here
