The area is adjacent to the Cape Town Stadium and has stunning views of both the stadium as well as Signal Hill. Lovely place to bring the kids to excercise or to have a picnic. It is also a learning experience for young and old. The garden is separated into ‘People and Plants’, ‘Wetlands’ and ‘Discovering Biodiversity’. The park hours are from 7 to 7 with visible security. « less

The Greenpoint Park is a blue print for biodiversity displays and makes it practical and fun for all ages to understand conservation. It is a family destination and fitness fanatics can be seen walking for running through the park at any time. Despite the action the park remains a tranquil space.

We went as a Group with my German visitors and every body enjoyed the walk through, and they find it wonderful that the facility is near the Center of Town and available to all people

An awesome place to take the kids to play on the educational/outdoor equipment, enjoy outdoor life, experience an affinity with nature, learn about flora and take in the beautiful views of Table Mountain and vicinity at no charge. Amazing view of The Cape Town Stadium too. Take a picnic and enjoy a fun family day out on the beautiful lawns.

Walked from the Waterfront, through the park, to Seapoint. Super nice walk. Loved the layout of the park. It was really quiet on a sunny afternoon. Highly recommended!

Space, scenery, plenty for children to keep active and busy, good for picnics, and wonderful to walk around - beautifully tended and in a great location (apart from when it's windy)

This new park is situated opposite the lighthouse and is so peaceful to walk around. It is ideal for little children and adults too. It is so peaceful and the view from the apartments in front of them are stupendous. They occassionally have concerts in the park too.

This park is well worth a visit. My wife and I strolled through on a lazy, sunny sunday. Lovely views over the Milnerton Golf Course, as well as of Table Mountain await. The gardens are very interesting and well laid out, with an area for children to play as well as places to sit and take in the ambience. We... More
