I think this is the highlight of our visit to Oudtshoorn, the "ostrich capital of the world". Didn't see any butterflies, just ostriches. The gamekeeper was very knowledgeable with a dark sarcastic sense of humor, making it amusing. We learned how the males are black & females are grey, and their big toe claw can rip a man's belly open.... More

we went to the Cango ostrich farm assuming it'll be a pleasant experience for the kids, looking at ostriches roaming around a farm. The actual experience was far from pleasing. The guide was boring and the animals were treated with little respect. they are hunted down for the crowd amusement, a sack is put on their head and the tourists... More

I am always worried when visiting farms as you sometimes find they are managed for tourists or visitors and not for the comfort or well being of the animals. Although I don't like the idea of their hides being used for handbags and belts I do like seeing them close up to understand their existence. They are very comical animals... More

The moment we walked into the reception area we felt that this was an organised and professional setup on a smaller scale to the large masses setups. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and engaging. Geraldine, our tour guide, was fantastic. She charmed us with her humour and her knowledge and the way she made all of us part... The visit to this Ostrich Farm was seriously the worst part of our SA-holiday. It started with a pseudo-lecture about Ostriches - we hoped to learn something about these animals, but we only heard jokes about how small their brains are and what it takes to kill them. The guide made one silly comment after the other, at the expense... More

Given the option to ride an ostrich, learnt alot about ostriches. Fed them and lots of photo opportunities. Not too expensive so all in all worth a visit!

It's really expensive for just 45 minutes of nothing and after so much money, the people who attend you ask for money after the show, it looks like the owners forget the place It looks dirty and with not interesting of people working There are so many activities to do that these is a waste of time and money And... The staff was very helpful. When you arrive the offer you coffee and tea while you wait for your tour. The tour is not physical at all so every one can participate. They tell you about the history of ostrich farming, show you an incubation chamber, let you feed an ostrich and eventually ride one, though only if you are... More

We spent a morning here on a very interesting 45 minute tour, our excellent guide explained all there is to know about Ostrichs and then took us on a tour feeding and getting up close to a few of them, a few people could ride one if they wanted to or have one give you a neck massage! Small cafe... More

Tour Is rushed, and was told Tour included feeding / Sitting / Taking Pics with ostrich, but During Tour the Guide said there is no time and that one person per family / Group may do certain things, yet we all paid full price,
