Deep blue green body of water contrasted with the stark desert and mountain surroundings was outstanding. Nothing to do there this time of year as it's 'off season".
This is a beautiful location but one heck of a drive to get there. It was pretty crowded when we went but the kids enjoyed swimming in the lake while we did the barbeque. Parking is very difficult to find, there are attendants to assist but they mostly suggest parking a distance away from the picnic area and then walking... More
We had at nice lunch at the "Proveduria" at the entrance of the camping - watch out the sandwiches are really big. From there we decided to find out about the activities down at the lake. Do not miss out on the tiro-bungee. It is really a lot of fun .... and definitely passes too fast. Our 8 year old... More
Nice dam to visit. Nice place to practice canopy and for sailing in the lake. I really prefer the Valle Grande dam, but Los Reyunos is also very nice.
