The Stechnij family, all native Arizonians, own and operate the 27 acre dairy in East Mesa. Supersitition Farm allows guests to "Gather their Senses" by SEEING the day to day work on the farm, HEARING the sounds of the farm life, TOUCHING the animals, TASTING the food on the farm and SMELLING that fresh country air. The farm tours include a hayride tour of the dairy, education in the resource center where guests will learn the tools of the farm trade and how their milk gets to their refrigerator. « less

The staff is excellent with children and families. We visited and joined in with a school group. My 70yr old mother was having so much fun. We just completed a weekday tour. Tour was excellent. Farmer Jason gave a brief lesson which shared some good info in a brief kid friendly manner. What an unfortunate review to write about a small family farm to try to damage it's reputation as well as the great & loyal vendors that set up on Thursday evenings for the Super Farm Market. We've been a few times to Superstition Farm as they have many different events. My husband and I joined them for a tour one Saturday. Lovely drive from Mesa along the Red Mountain freeway to get to the farm. Mostly a set up for kids. Enjoy the ice cream and petting zoo.
