We booked our Grand Canyon tour several weeks in advance, but they called to cancel LAST MINUTE (literally 5pm on the Sunday before our Monday tour). The customer service rep cited weather issues and told us that given their 25 years of experience, there would be fog in the canyon and it really wouldn't be worth the trip up there.... More

We were extremely excited to go on a tour to the grand canyon and in fact it was to be the highlight of our trip. We booked in advance and were confirmed. Later the tour company had emailed one of us asking us if it was possible to reschedule our tour as they wanted a bigger group. We could not... More

We had scheduled a Sedona trip with them. The day before they called and told us they had to cancel because there was not enough people and asked if we'd like to take the Grand Canyon tour. After telling them no they said that we could hook onto the Grand Canyon tour (leaving our hotel at 6:40) do the Sedona... More

We booked with Open Road Tours to visit Monument Valley to avoid driving ourselves (3+ hours each way) and damaging our rental car on the Valley's "unimproved" roads. The tour we took for convenience turned out to be the tour of a lifetime! Our guide, the colorful JR, was waiting for us at our Flagstaff, AZ hotel at the 7:15... More

Had limited amount of time in AZ and wanted to see the GC. Saw the reviews for the one day Grand Canyon tour with Open Road and thought we'd give it a try. Glad we did. They picked us up at our hotel . That was nice because we got to look at the scenery and not be worried about... More

I decided to go with a tour to the Grand Canyon so I could just enjoy it and not have to worry about driving. Great choice. I took the all day tour from Phoenix. We stopped in Sedona and Navajo Trading Post before heading to the Grand Canyon. I just adored our driver, Howard. He kept me entertained the entire... More

We've visited the Grand Canyon and Navajo Lands with Open Road Tours in mid-July from Flagstaff and we've had a great day. They picked us up directly from our hostel and we had many stops for information and pictures. Our guide Sheldon was extremely knowledgeable about the area and very attentive to every need of the group - with a... More

Open Road Tours is simply the best touring organization to use ! My wife and I were picked up at our hotel bright and early at 7:30 am. This tour to the Grand Canyon via Sedona was an excellent value. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and the sites are a must see. I am so glad I did this rather than renting a car. One bit of advice would be to bring something to snack on. Time is rather compressed for lunch. More
