Have to pay admission and then pay over market price for treats or u-pick fruits and vegetables--perhaps because I was raised on a farm, I don't find the experience very "farm like" at all.
I enjoy visiting this farm as often as I can. It's great. They have tasty treat for purchase. I love going to the garden and picking my own fresh vegetables which are always good and delicious. My daughter also loves going because they have a petting zoo and other fun attractions. During certain holidays they have great fun for the... More
Went during the peach festival nice place to take kids parking can be a challenge on big events but rides animals fresh produce country store so neat!
As some other reviewers stated, items at Schnepf Farms can be a bit overpriced; but visitors cannot compare the value of a U-Pick experience. We went to the Farms to pick our own sweet and juicy peaches, fresh apricots ... We planned to pick just a few pounds of peaches; but we could not resist but continue walking further in... More
Stopped by one day on my way back from an errand and decide to surprise the wife with some "fresh baked" pastry. One each of a brownie and a cinnamon roll and the price was about $6 (gulp) Looked at the pies $17 for a 9-10 inch pie (double gulp). Gathered my two "goodies" and left. Arriving home the wife... I don't have small children so I can't comment on their family friendly get togethers, which I understand are fun for the kids, but I have been to the bakery several times. I ordered a pie for Thanksgiving last year and went to pick it up and they had no record of my purchase. They had a pie available of... More
I live in the area and never found a reason for its great attraction with the locals. Produce and the bakery items are over-priced and not that great. I know they have special events from time to time but it gets so crowded I'm not sure it's worth the effort. I'll keep trying to find a reason to go back.
Schnepf Farms can feel a little overpriced at times if you are comparing their produce to some local places but you can't compare the value of a U-Pick experience for your kids. We go every year to the Schnepf Farms Peach Blossom Celebration festival which is free admission. They have a petting Zoo with a pig, cow, goats, chickens, ducks,... More
This was out second visit to the farm, we went in October for the pumpkin fest and then a couple weeks ago for the peach festival. We kind of have mixed reviews regarding both. Its an interesting concept that it is an actual working farm and how they have different activities throughout the year, I guess out biggest complaint would... More
My husband and I went to the Schnepf Farm peach festival this Memorial Day weekend. Our first visit was about 15 years ago. They're still growing them as sweet and juicy as I remembered. Everything was well organized to handle crowds. Parking was convenient, you had an option to take a hay ride to the orchard or walk. We found... More
