The devil didn't carve this one - too pretty. Take lots of water. Road needs a high-clearance vehicle, or hike in further. 400" elevation rise, last 100' is like stairs to the top of the bridge.

The hike is a little long unless you have a 4 wheel SUV or similar to drive the approximate 1.5 miles to the trailhead. The road, however, is fine for walking and many do so. That trail to the bridge is well maintained and easy except for a steep pitch near the end. It is not dangerous.
The road to the trail is impassable unless you have a high clearance vehicle. We therefor were unable to get to it. Also there were about 20 bikes there at the beginning of the road to the trail. Not sure if they have thier own trail but I don't like to hike on a trail with mountain bikes.
it was quite a walk but worth. Not handicap friendly unless you have a four wheel chair. we walked as far as I could, but we were able to see it. very nice. worth the walk.
The .7 mile trail from the TRAIL HEAD to the Devil's Bridge is quite a challenge...you have to climb UP and DOWN steep rocks that slightly resemble steps....but the climb is worth it once you get on top. The view is spectacular! The only down side to this hike is the dirt road you have to walk to get to...

The next morning we called a local jeep rental company and the manager answered the phone. "I'm trying to save you $200...take your rental on that road, you'll be just fine." She was incredibly nice and...

The hike started well, but then it gets quite steep which I don't like.
The view at the top was worth it - but seeing people cross over Devil Bridge is like watching a horror movie as if they lose their balance they would have a terrible fall. Coming down the path was not fun at all for me, as...

Better have a 4-wheel drive to get to the trail head if you don't want to walk. A regular car will not make it. The trail to Devil's Bridge was well maintained. The climb up to DB is pretty rugged, but well worth the effort when you make it to the top.
After parking in the parking lot we took the designated hiking trail, don't do it! Take the 4x4 road. The trail was so so long and hard to follow, some parts we hoped we were going the right way. We hiked the 4x4 trail back and it was a lot faster. Better yet, rent a Wrangler and drive it. We...

The hike to the bridge was about .7 and well worth the adventure of climbing up the rocks to get to the top. The view is amazing. Add to your hike in by taking the 2 mile journey on a trail vs taking the road. When you're on the trail, you forget you're on your way to a tourist destination....
