The Tubac Center of the Arts holds a number of special events throughout the year including their annual Home Tour, Open Studio Tour, Garden Tour and Summer Concert. They also have their Art Gallery where you can enjoy their annual exhibition showcasing the work of local area high school students. Now in its 12th year, “Hi-Art” is an annual exhibit... More

The Tubac Center of the Arts is an opportunity to see what a community of passionate artists and art lovers has created over six decades to celebrate and support its own creativity. It isn't a museum although its new Masters Gallery exhibits and preserves the art history of a region long rich in creativity. It IS several galleries showing a... More

Nice day trip down from Tucson toward the border with Mexico in Nogales. There are bargains to be had, particularly if you want large pots for your landscaping. We got three huge pots filling the back of our Honda Pilot (SUV) for under $150. Price them out at your local megastore and you're paying that for just 1, possibly two,... More

I recently visited the Tubac Center for the Arts because I heard there was a new addition. A friend of mine and I drove down from Phoenix because we are art lovers and always like to see something new. Upon arriving we were quite shocked at the entrance to the building. Clearly whoever designed the entrance had no clear understanding... More

What a wonderful experience stopping into the Tubac Center of the Arts! We were greeted by Gail a tiny, sprite of a woman with colorful energy pouring from every pore of her body! Between this lovely spot and the wonderful Feminine Mystique Gallery we were enthralled with Tubac!

Lined with retail stores offering their wares embracing art, clothing, jewelry at different price points, but including a mishmash of product contributing some local or Mexican made goods, the town is interesting, but touristy. A tour of the area did not suggest a prolonged visitation and after touring several establishments, we departed in search of history more suited to our... More

Over the years the Tubac Art Center has offered some quality exhibitions and programs. It has struggled, however, to find a niche in the southwest, especially in this art-friendly community. With construction going on, many of us thought a face-lift signaled a new focus and were excited to see the results. But the results are devastating! How could anyone who... More

Very disappointing visit - less than friendly greeting at entry. Confusing layout and back room where visitors were touching artwork without anybody monitoring. Lackluster exhibit.

The Tubac Center of the Arts has always been one of my favorite small gems among regional American museums. But with the new Master Artist Gallery, and its permanent collection of iconic Southern Arizona artists, I personally think TCA has reached a whole new level. Now, in one place, I can experience the landscape, animals and people of Southern Arizona... More

Tubac Center of the Arts has a beautiful array of art pieces ranging from oils, watercolors, & photography and more. A very pleasant stop along the way in a most creative place.
