If you like salt spray in your hair and bouncing over the waves, OCSC Sailing club is the place. We went out on their Wednesday night sail on a 35 foot boat. They provide a captain and even a post-sail supper. On our boat, we had 4 guests, plus the captain. So it's a personal experience. Even if you don't... More

I had heard great things about the Berkeley Marina, so went to check it out one afternoon, hoping to have a relaxing drink near the water while enjoying the great views and watching the boats. There are just two restaurants though and both of them didn't look very inviting from the outside. I strolled down the pier. The view from... More

We had a pleasant afternoon walking the Marina, even stopped under a tree for a nice picnic. Walked the pier, stopped by the kids' building park and enjoyed watching the sailboats float by. A good way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Mornings at the marina are met with calm winds, hummingbirds all about, and a nice bay-front walk. Afternoons see the winds pick up and kites take to the air. It's a nice respite from SF - enjoy!

Space, fresh air and views. Sunshine and seabirds. There's a wonderful kids adventure park for real kids - no gizmos, no muzak, no rides, no electronics - but things to climb on, things to construct (and the tools to construct them with). The best ever!

Great views, long wharf to walk on or fish, parking was easy (on a weekday). Great place to walk, sit or relax if you're having too much "city"

Very nice area to walk and small ones can spend good time on playground and little beach. Quite and nice, family and kids friendly.

There are plenty of wonderful people that live in this marina. I spent about a year living on three different boats here. The staff leaves a lot to be desired. The main lady is referred to as the marina Nazi. The docks are not well maintained. The restrooms vary from poor to nice.

This is a fun place for local color. Go out on the pier to see and chat with people fishing for dinner or bring a kite and walk along the paths. Adventure Park was a childhood fav that my son still asks to visit whenever we are in town. This is a great, free attraction.
