My wife and I took the bike tour one fine day in early October. I don't think the guys at the shop can take credit for the fantastic 75 degree and not a cloud in the sky weather that day, but they can take credit for the fantastic itinerary they planned out for us! We walked into the shop a... More

The staff at Calistoga Bike Shop provided us with a memorable bike ride in Napa Valley. Not only did they expertly equip us with comfortable bikes for our ride, but provided us with a terrific route that matched our capabilties along with locks and helmets. My wife has asthma so the clerk provided us with a 14 mile route that... More

The people at Calistoga Bike Shop are so competent, that it takes all the worries out of bike rentals in an unfamiliar place. We made reservations for a party of 6, about 6 weeks in advance and received confirmation of our reservation by phone. When we arrived, we were in and out in about 20 minutes. The staff was great... Brought my tire into the shop to have a spoke replaced. I had been told that some shops take days, it only took 15 minutes. Mario, i believe also noticed my valve was damaged. Thanks guys!

The problem with renting bikes on vacation is that you end up with a slow, heavy machine that's not properly tuned up. But Calistoga Bikeshop offers some excellent equipment, ranging from newer hybrids, to aluminum road bikes, up to carbon-fiber speedsters. I rented a new Felt Z80 that was tuned up and in better condition than my own road bike... More

Fun place to rent bikes if you want to tour a few wineries. We were given a map and excellent directions to different tasting venues. It was a lot of fun.

I enthusiastically recommend Calistoga Bike Shop for anyone that is looking to rent bicycles during their visit our stay in Napa. My boyfriend and I reserved 2 road bikes, about a month in advance of our planned visit to Calistoga. I submitted an online form with my rental request, and someone from the bike shop called me a few hours... More

Loved the Calistoga Bikeshop. They were very helpful and friendly in that very laid-back California way. I was prepared to take some time to chitty-chat and ask them lots of questions about the wineries and the routes they recommended but they were pretty efficient and got us out of there in good time, with all our questions answered. The bikes... More

The bikes were very comfortable and easy to ride. The staff wasn't overly accommodating or overly friendly. We walked in and weren't greeted off the bat or acknowledged...kind of stood around until someone made eye contact. Once they acknowledged us it was kind of like "here's your bike, now move along." We paid $35 for each bike for the day.... More

No designated driver! The perfect way for ten people, including four children, to visit wineries in the area and taste wines. The bikes were of a very high standard, the shop staff were quick and helpful and we had a fabulous day!
