This place is great ...just bring your chair and cooler with snacks...or take a nice stroll ...oh and of course your camara. you can see where the river comes into the Pacific Ocean...

Slightly sheltered from the weather and nice open shoreline. Great area to take your dog. Should have dog on leash but there are lots of them running around under voice control.

We rented a canoe from Adventure Rents in Gualala and spent a couple of hours paddling down the river on a lovely afternoon.

rented kayak from adventurerents.com very nice people to deal with. delivered the kayak/paddles/life jackets directly to campground. river level kinda low tho
