We spent a few hours this morning doing a couple mile leisurely walk through the redwoods. Very peaceful, awesome experience. We would recommend it to others.

Very nice walk, but still want to see the ones you can drive through. It is home the the largest and oldest trees. Park in the visitor center and you can walk some mild trails through the trees.
This reserve of giant redwood trees is a hidden gem. Located along the Russian River in Guerneville, the trees are amazing. The paths are easy to follow for families with young children or older less mobile adults. Our visitors from all over the world have loved to see the giant trees without having to deal with the crowds of Muir...

Travel into the story of Robin Hood when you explore the giant Redwoods of Armstrong Woods. Nice trails and a wonderful experience if you love the outdoors. If you are from the Midwest, these woods are a MUST SEE!
We hiked the 5.6 mile loop. Then, we took the approx. 1 mile trail thru the Redwoods where the Armstrong tree was located. The trail is well marked and a great day hike. We even had time to stop at Korbel for a tour and tasting afterwards.

Now we take all out of town visitors to see the beautiful redwoods, walks, nature and breathe the cool oxygen from the grove! My brother was even married out here. Beautiful setting, and amphitheater for a crowd. Why fight the crowds at other redwood groves...we...
