Bamboo was an OK place. I enjoyed it as I would any island I have been to. Would I recommend it, sure because it is something to do when you are down here.
Has narrow beaches on both sides of the island. They are separated by a 15 minute trek through the Jungle interior of the island. Island would have been beautiful except for all the rubbish strewn around. Very modest beach huts for backpackers available at the Gulf of Thailand facing side.
We visited here on a boat trip we booked from Coco Shack on Ochheuteal beach for $15 including breakfast and lunch. The island is lovely. There isn't any snorkelling but there a few fishes to watch by swimming not far from the beach. I had a very fun game of volleyball with some locals and another traveller. Someone staying on... More

A day on the water. Otherwise just go to one of the lovely beaches in Sihanoukville. Departure is at the wharf at Serendipity Beach and a light breakfast is served on the wharf (included in the fee) if you've not eaten beforehand. I would suggest eating at your hotel should you have the option. We were very disappointed with the... More
An interesting day out. You are picked up at your hotel and taken to a central point for breakfast which was a lovely bagette, margarine and jam. Then you are all ferried via various cars and vans down to the jetty to get on the boat. This in itself is an experience and anyone old or a bit shake on... More
the beach is white and the water is clean. but the fish is not that various, it is not a very good place for snorkling. Anyway, it is wothy to spend $15 to join in the 3 island trip!
We were very impressed with the beach and the water here. No garbage in sight and the water is shallow with nice sand. Chairs on the beach cost 50 cents and there is a small shop. Worth a trip out for snorkeling along the way too. The snorkeling is nothing special but is fun for the 30 minutes that they... More
The beach is away from the main land and you have to take a boat to reach it. Therefore, it was very quiet. Clear water allowed snorkeling. Nothing much to do there except enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
