I have lived in San Diego for over 25 years and have never been kayaking on the shores! I decided to take my 2 nieces who where here visiting. The guides where great and we where well taken care off. The weather was also great and I think that would affect how people do on a kayak in the ocean.... More

If you get the chance this is a fun tour. We kayaked and then snorkelled. Not a lot of sea life though we did see seals, sea lions and garibaldi fish. The caves are a bit of a misnomer. There is one cave we snorkelled into that was very tiny and there was a bit of congestion with other tour... More

Easy on-line sign-up. Excellent guides. We had a small group by virtue of being the first in the morning kayak tour.

Took 2 hour cave kayak tour on a warm sunny day with Max and Chris as the tour guides. Surf was pretty tame when we went but it was a great time. Saw a lot of seals sunning on rocks and swimming out near the caves. The cave opening can get a little congested with tour groups, but it was... More

One of the most exciting things I did on this trip to San Diego. The waves were really high and strong, it took a long time to get everyone in clam waters. They canceled the tours after ours because of the strong waves. My best friend got sea sick half way out, but it was still fun for me. We... More

I purchased a groupon and coupon expired. They charged me $65 minus the $25.00 I already paid, but others on the tour only paid $25.00 with a different coupon. This felt like mistreatment and I did not enjoy the caves. This unfair treatment should not ne tolaterted.

Santa bought my son this two person-Kayak adventure and as soon as the weather was warm enough- we booked it. We were both excited and nervous- especially signing the paper that talks of the dangers. But the guys working there were so very easy going and kind that it eased my mind. Check in was super simple. They provided a... More

Nice day for a Kayak tour but too large a group (12 kayaks) which means a lot of waiting while everyone gets in and beyond the breaking waves. There was a lot of gathering the boats together to hear about the area but guides didn't bring any way to amplify their voices so it was difficult to hear the dialogue... More

Went on the 2 hours cave tour with La Jolla Kayak. We had our own guide, he was very flexible and gave us leeway to do what we wanted to do. Too windy to enter the caves but it was fun to go by and look in, while enjoying the view of the seals and sea lions. Great deal on... More

Rented stand-up paddle boards from these guys. They are super friendly and attentive and have everything you need. They also provide lockers and washrooms which I think is a really good feature of the business because you totally need them. Coolest thing to do in the San Diego area. The area is spectacular, there is so much interesting wild life... More
