A must see. While the observatory is wonderful, the trails up the hills are around it are incredible. MAke sure you wear good foot ware and hiking clothing.

Great place to take the kids for the afternoon. Lots of exhibits and interactive things for them. Be sure to see the planetarium show and go to the roof for the telescope. Check out their website for lots of information.

We really enjoyed our visit to Griffith Observatory. Watched the planetarium show (small extra fee) and explored the exhibits. Tons to see and do, and whether you're a photography buff snapping pictures of the amazing views or an astronomy buff enjoying the live views of the sun from their solar telescope, you'll have a great time.

See the show where you recline in seats and experience/learn about our planet and the constellation - absolutely amazing. Upon exiting the... More

We never had this on our original vacation plans but what a super find. We spent the entire day after only planning a few hours, the Zoo is alwasy a great choice to finish off the day. Very clean and well kept. Huge park that goes on for miles. We rented bikes and rode for miles and never dented the... More
