I used to regularly visit findadeath.com and was very excited that I had a layover in LA to take this tour. I will say that Scott and Brian were nice in letting us keep our luggage in the shop while on the tour and Brian went the extra mile in driving by the Chinese Theatre and Paramount Studios for me.... I booked the tour then saw the tour on American Horror Stories! It was kind of a creepy coincidence. I booked the Tragic History Tour. We had so much fun Brain (our guide), is the right kind of guide for the job. He is the type of person who lives and breathes HOLLYWOOD, a good phone a friend on a... More

Brian, the tour guide, is brilliant! He is the master of Hollywood's horrible histories. On this tour you see lots and learn even more about Hollywood murders, scandals and suicides. If you're English, you won't always know who the dead celebrities are but Brian makes it so fascinating it doesn't matter! Highlight for me was seeing The Landmark Motel where... More

I have been three times to LA in the last year for holidays and each time I have wanted to do this tour but did all the other ones which according to who you get the same house belongs to many different stars. This tour is Brilliant whilst it covers the macabre and deaths, murders and suicides in Hollywood whilst... More

We just went on our third tour with Dearly Departed in the past year. We have done the Hollywood Movie tour, Tragical History, and most recently the Helter Skelter tour. All 3 have been awesome, it was amazing to spend the day with Scott Michaels on the Helter Skelter tour. We are huge fans and plan on doing the Halloween... More

My friends and I did this tour last April, Friday the 13th. I've been meaning to do it for a few years. I'm so glad I finally cashed in on that idea! I was nervous at first but the tour was not creepy or dark as I suspected. In fact, you learn a lot about Hollywood history, movie star homes/history... More

My friends and I booked this trip on a whim one day after flicking through a brochure in our hotel. We weren't quite sure what to expect: would it just be macabre and ghoulish? Our guide was Brian, an affable, friendly guide who seems to have a real passion for what he does. A couple of our group are real... More

I have been on this tour twice. It is awesome! You not only see all the places that became famous for celebrity deaths happening there, but the guides point out things in between. You have seen all these places on the tv and to see them in person gives a real different look at it. The tour guides are awesome.... More

I've been on two Dearly Departed tours, one their general "death" tour and the other devoted to the Helter Skelter/Charles Manson crimes. Both tours were outstanding and Scott Michael, the guide, has an encyclopedic knowledge of Hollywood's darker history and he's a great storyteller. After the Manson tour my son and I stopped for dinner at El Coyote, the restaurant... More
