Good idea to buy your tickets online to avoid a line up and to get inside before the people who did not prepuchase tickets. The jellyfish and seahorse exhibits are among the best we have seen. This is an impressive facility with lots to offer young children to pensioners. The main gift store offers a nice variety of gifts for... More

It's hard to say which of the many exhibits were our favorite. There is a wide variety, and they are set up to guide you from the shoreline to the deep waters of the bay and ocean. It's an eye opening learning experience and awe-inspiring, lending great insight into the ecosystems of the ocean, all with a context of the... More

work is funded by the visitor. Spend a day, mid-week if you can as weekends get very busy, and help the marine environment at the same time. It's all good but the Jelly fish are fantastic, Seahorses are miracles of nature, Kelp beds amazing and the staff enthusiastic.

So much to see and the docents are all around you to help you find your way or explain details regarding the fish, etc. Food is also very good and priced okay. Give yourself at least two to three hours if you want to take it all in. Yes it is expensive but worth every penny, besides it is expensive... More

We went to the Monterey Aquarium with our two kids (5 and 9 years). The layout of the aquarium is fantastic and the various displays can easily take up the whole day. There is also an outside area to see the Monterey shoreline. Well worth the admission.

Absolutely beautiful, huge aquarium with a lot of species, exhibitions and interactive stuff! Great for everyone. Although the tickets are kinda expensive, the work they do here is incredible. PS: You have to see the otters! cutest things ever.

Jellyfish and Sea Horses. Not to be believed! A tad expensive, but well worth it! Count on a good three hours, at least!
