The Monterey Bay was beautiful in December. However it was windy and the waves were high. There were many vista points for pictures along the road.

Lots of stores, food choices, and all-around great atmosphere. Wonderfully cool, which is so welcome when you come from the heat!

Great views of the bay. The area around Cannery Row is very picturesque. Had lunch at "Bubba Gump Restaurant". The architecture of all the buildings is interesting and quite beautiful. Monterey, Santa Cruz and Carmel are such beautiful places and a must if you are in that area. Marie S Rotorua New Zealand

The Monterey Bay is very picturesque with scenic beaches and great views. The drive along the coast is really good and there are lot of quaint little towns along the way. The beaches are scenic but the waves can be rough.

From Santa Cruz all the way to Monterey, you will be seeing the bay. Once you are in Monterey, the tourism gets a little overboard.

Monterey is a nice place to visit and we loved our stay at the Spindrift Inn on Cannery Row. The area around Cannery Row is very touristy but still fun to spend a couple hours checking out. Such a relaxing place to just sit and watch the waves. There isn't much of a beach, but still plenty to see. A lot of little tide pools by the rocks to explore and see all the little creatures swimming around.

I love to breathe the fresh ocean air and watch the wildlife, as we walk along the beach trails. Loads of trails and people out doing healthy activities.

Tremedous experience, fabulous views and breath taking scenery. images will stay with me for ever. Everyone enjoyed the trip.
