My husband and I visited Skyline in the morning before the temperature started to climb. We opted to take the Skyline and Lower Skyline Trail. Before we reached the trailhead, we spotted a deer grazing in the meadow and could hear, but not see, wild turkeys. The Skyline trail covered about 3.5 miles with some steep parts as we headed... I would consider this a moderate up and down hike. About 1 & quarter hour hike to lake. About 3.5 hours hike around the lake and back. Take the skyline trail up and go down the marie creek trail back.

Beautiful area with lots of wildlife...saw several deer. Well marked trails and several levels of "effort" Very nice half day to full day outing. Take water and a snack!

you have to pay and arm and a leg just to walk around the hills..Dogs are not alowed,Yet there are homeless in tents all over..And people on horses..It really is a privately owned park for snobs..Its not fair everyone has the right to enjoy God's gift..The park is run by the Sierra club

Entrance fee...but well worth it for the number of trails that are available. Everything from easy to difficult. Some trails lead to beautiful views of the valley, others to hidden lakes. Lots of wildlife

Been here a couple times and hiked up to the pond. Very quiet and some nice views up the valley. Great place to spend a day with hiking and a picnic.

Great spot to get away on some trails! Noticed the location was heavily traversed by horseback riders however but this seemed to be only at the entrance.

I had a hard time finding a RV park close to or in Napa through Google or or other means. The Skyline Wilderness Park is only about a mile from downtown yet you are at the foot of the nicest 22 mile of view trails anywhere. The park can take tents and 40' motor homes and yet feels very private... More

We're always looking for a great hike and this park, close to Napa period has a number of good hikes. We took the main trail and enjoyed it. There's a small fee which helps the volunteer staffed park defray expenses.

We hiked to lake Marie round trip it was approx. 6.5 miles. It was beautiful back in the woods. It was a good workout but not too hard. I will go back for sure!
