This trip was the absolute highlight of our 3 days in Napa.
Our day with Platypus included visiting 4 small boutique wineries and a lovely simple picnic lunch.
As Aussies visiting the area the tour gave us a chance to meet other people , go to wineries we would never find by ourselves and not have to worry about driving...

I was shocked that my first wine tour ended up the way it did. I was expecting with such great reviews that Platypus would have been exactly what I traveled 2,000 miles for. So what went wrong?

We enjoyed our day with Sam, visiting four wineries that we otherwise might not have ventured to. The day was well-timed, the lunch was just right, and in a beautiful setting, and everyone on the bus enjoyed sharing the crackers and cheeses at the end of the day.

We were in napa for our honeymoon and went on a platypus wine tour. Our guide was Sam who was great. We got to do tastings with the owners of 3 of the vineyards which was really cool. Sam made us a great lunch and showed us a great time. I couldn't recommend Platypus tours more. Well worth it. Jake

A great time had with Karl as our driver on our wine tour. Visited 4 wineries which I'm sure we would not have found on our own. Karl was very friendly and knowledgable not just about wine but also the napa area. Thank you!
