Just finished playing Nick Faldo's design for the 4th consecutive year. It is an interesting golf course design that has ONE MAJOR FLAW. Mr. Faldo apparently thinks that the severe faces of his bunkers should be soft so that every ball plugs and is almost not visible. All the good courses I have played around the USA allow for balls... More

Not being a good golfer I liked the fact that I din't lose a billion balls in the rough. That is not to say that this is an easy course. There is plenty of water and sand for everyone. The course is well maintained and the facilities are beautiful

Great course with some difficult holes and some wide open fairways. Excellent driving range, chipping, putting and sand bunker practice areas. Staff is very nice, plenty of drinking water on the course. We played two times in a week and would return the next time we are in the area.

Shadow ridge is a fun golf course. They have a good mix of tee boxes to make it more challenging for the more skilled player and a good mix of holes that give you risk/reward options. I visit Palm Desert every other year and enjoy staying at the Shadow Ridge property and always make sure I play at least one... More

We are here for two weeks each year. We play the course 2-3 times during our visit and play other area courses as well. This course is always in great condition, manicured, green, clean. The course has very challenging holes and the undulating smooth greens. We play early in the morning because we don't like long rounds. This year there... More

Course laid out very well. Holes are varied and challenging. Great Place to Stay. Lots of activities and nice villas. Pro shop very accommodating and well stocked. Can get Marriott pass to use when ever in town, don't have to be staying there

Since we are owners at Shadow Ridge, we very frequently visit the Nick Faldo restaurant. We've never been disappointed in either the food or the service. Weather permitting we typically like to sit outdoors where we can watch the golfers at they begin their round. Because the portions tend to be somewhat large, we've occasionally found that sharing is a... More

Really nice practice facility with large putting greens, chipping green and full swing and wedge range so this is a good place to go to work on your game. Faldo's undulating greens are smooth and make the course interesting. There are a number of par fours that have character, including a couple of short ones that are quite memorable/fun and... More

I am a timeshare owner here but I have played many fine courses around the world. This one rates very highly. Condition is great and off the backs even a par golfer would be challenged. That said they do push you on time so it is for better golfers.

Great round, lots of challenging sand but in pretty good condition. Slow play most of the day or I would have given it one more star. we waited on every hole. Sometimes we were stacked two deep (par 3's).
