I was super scared to get on this thing, but it was worth it! Great view all the way up, and obviously wonderful when you're up there. Even if you just go up to look our the restaurant patio you get a wonderful view of the area! Make sure to bring a sweater, its usually 40 degrees colder up here!

Temperature is about 30-49 degrees cooler at the top of the tram so plan accordingly. The views are spectacular and an entirely different world from the desert floor

I was not sure what to expect here. I was told many different viewpoints of the tram.. I visited in May. The weather at the bottom of the tram was approx 91. not too hot, but there is not a lot of shade and must be bused up to the entrance.. The wait to get bused up was only 5... More

The tram is amazing. We went on a busy Saturday and the are able to manage large crowds easily. Steep climb for about 11-12 minutes. Views are outstanding. If you can, take a brief hike. The trails are fairly well marked and enough people on the trail to feel comfortable without feeling crowded. After that, enjoy a burger and a... More

I last went on the aerial tramway in 1997. The tram now has a rotating base so you get fabulous 360 degree views as you travel to the summit. It's a cool reprieve at the summit and there are beautiful walking tracks.

Like an "E" ticket for a Disneyland ride....if you like hiking you can when you get to the top, but it's pleasant to eat in the cafeteria and look at the sights below the mountain. Not as interesting as a helicopter ride in Kauai.

I went there in August, which i am well aware that it is the hottest month of the year in palm springs. We joined the in laws up the tramways and to check out the view from up top. It was cooler up top but not cool enough for a jacket. The view was nice but not notable. It was... More

We rode the Tramway and it was enjoyable, but at almost $25 per ticket, it is expensive for what you get. The inside of the tram rotates so you do get a 360 degree view. At the top, there are a couple of trails, a restaurant, bar, etc. Note that it is considerably colder and quite windy on top of... More
