This facility has a great collection of both World War II aircraft in their air conditioned facility and more modern jets outside. Getting into the B-17 and exploring it's compartments was a special treat. There is also a great interactive area for kids where they can "fly" aircraft in real cockpits and drive a Model A firetruck

The museum was a wonderful experience to learn about the air force role in WWII. The volunteers were excellent and answered any question you asked.

This is a great way to spend the afternoon. There are many numerous airplanes - fully restored - and with some that they even fly. We spent most of the afternoon there. Looking and reading and talking to the volunteers. We learned a lot of war history and a lot about the planes themselves. This is quite the place! Go... More

I don't think one has to be a military buff to go and appreciate all that this museum has to offer. Just getting a very small idea of what our military has gone through over the years is very educational and worthwhile. This little museum, with some very big aircraft, is extremely well done. It's a feather in the cap... More

This gives you insight to the military airplanes. There are volunteers who will guide and inform you. Great place to see old aircraft.

Visited for the first time on Memorial Day for the flyover flower drop honoring vets. Well worth a visit any time for anyone interested in seeing planes up close.

I took my 10 year old son and had a GREAT TIME! If you are interested in WW2 airplanes this museum is an absolute must! The aircraft aren't fenced off, so you can get up close, touch them, stick your head in them and even climb inside some of them. The thing that really sets it apart though are the... More

We went to the flight museum for their special Memorial Day ceremony. There are activities all day in addition to the usual exhibits. The fly overs by some of the old planes will delight children of all ages. There are several different food vendors along the flight line. The best part is when the red and white carnations are dropped... More
