We thought all wineries in Paso Robles offer fresh grape juice to kids, we thought wrong! This is the only place that offers fresh grape juice that is made from wine grapes. $6 a bottle for sale and it tastes so fresh and sweet! Beautiful and lushy site for view, including a gallery for event. Nice staff and complementary tasting.... More

A wide selection of wine at reasonable prices. Among the wines we really liked was the Zinfusion. Lovely winery, with the walk from the parking lot up a gentle slope lined with beautiful flowers, so reminiscent of Italy. The people were very nice, especially our server Sherry, and made us feel very welcome.

We always stop here to buy Zinfandel, Blood Orange Vinegar, and Olive Oil. They make a few Zin's and all are quite good. Worth a visit, especially if you are a Zin lover.

We specifically went through the winery list looking for some wineries that offered some sweet wine selections, and came across Castoro Cellars. Of all the wineries we visited, it was one of my favorites. We enjoyed the tasting and learned a lot about wine. The wines were reasonably priced, too. My favorite was the Muscat Canelli, and my husband loved... More

Our First Wine Tasting Stop for the day in Paso Robles. The facilities were very nice looking, plenty of picnic areas, nice shade, views and well maintained property. The wine tasting was free for three tastes. We enjoyed the wine and bought the 2009 Roussanne for $19 and the 2012 Muscat Canelli for $9. Great deal. The Muscat Canelli was... More

Imagine a winery dedicated not to marketing, but to the visitors' enjoyment of their wines. Castoro Cellars is such a vineyard. This was the second winery we stopped at during our short tour of the Paso Robles area, and a short distance off the highway. We were enchanted by the setting (you approach the tasting room through a grape arbor,... More

Driving down the long winding entry seemed to transport us to Italy! And even though their was a modest fee for tasting, we were given probably twice the number that we paid for. And Castoro has one of the most beautiful and serene spots for a picnic lunch in Paso. And you can buy all your foodie goodies right there... More

I was there on July 27, 2012, the same day as the woman who had the unpleasant experience. I am surprised and sorry to hear about that, because my experience was quite the opposite. I had a pleasant young man serving me at first. Then I took a break (I had chosen to taste 7 wines for a fee; you... More
