Walked through this park today. It is a wonderful place to hike, and usually not very hot. Has a popular fishing pier and good signs about the history of this park land.

Perhaps a highlight in this otherwise sleepy lower class community dominated by hispanic and black culture - but if you are visiting, just go to the city (=SF) or perhaps Berkeley etc.

Great walk around Point Pinole yesterday with our two dogs - We are pretty new to the area (moved here a year ago) and we'd not been there before. Visited Pinole Point park last Saturday with a friend. It cost $4 to park. Instead of walking, we took the shuttle bus to the point and walked out the pier.
