Great place to hike. Beautiful views! stenuous! not for the faint of heart. I did see a lot of children!? There are many trails there though and some may be short enough.

Good place to take a walk with your four-legged friend - not too many places that are this dog friendly around. Lots of trails and varying length and difficulty. Be sure to bring water as it can get hot out there though! And bathrooms are few and far between.

I've hiked on every trail in this park and I love it! Springtime is especially rewarding as there are so many different types and kinds of wildflowers. Try the Hacienda or Mockingbird entrances--less crowded than Macabee and plenty of parking.

This park is fabulous, especially in the summer time when it's virtually deserted. I've seen everything from bobcats to deer here. This park is a great place all year around. There are probably only a few days when the winter rains make the trails a little to muddy for a great hike. Visit from any of the entrances and you will find great vistas and trails.

I like the convenience, scenic views, the trails. the history, It is located in San Jose and a step into the rural area of Ca. the oldest mining community in Ca.

Hiked multiple trails and I was very impressed with the signage along the trail that pointed out the history of the various points of interest. Lots of history in this park.
