I arrived @ 4:00.m. on a Saturday to find the place packed. The friendly tasting room lead associate said it's slow from opening time to 4:00 on weekends, after which time it is always jammed. They had five people pouring. The bulk of those attending were wine club members. Tasting FREE of a half dozen respectable wines at fair prices.... More

I have been a J. Lohr wine club member for several years but it was time to move on. However, I will stay a loyal customer since their wines are really good and can easily stand up the competition in the area. Most wines come with an affordable price tag and are perfect if you have friends over for dinner.... More

Set back on a side street this pretty little winery is well worth the visit - and the tastings are free! What a surprise. Our server, Jean, was friendly, professional and informative. Plus, they make good wine at a good price.

This winery was a pleasant experience after paying $15 and more for wine tasting in the Napa Valley. The staff was friendly and did not pressure you to buy any wine. The wine was also good and reasonably priced.

Best part of this winery is the vast amount of free tastings they offer. The free tasting included 6 wines. The tasting location is odd because it is in the heart of downtown San Jose, but convenient to say the least. It is a small venue but never too crowded. Pricing for the wine is good as well.

First things first they have complimentary wine tasting. They have a friendly staff to help guide you through the tasting. The wines are very good and reasonably priced. Most come from the Paso Robles region which I love.

It's always fun to take a couple of hours and visit and wine taste and buy their wine.
