I love walking State Street with its many shops and restaurants. It's a must do every time I am in SB. A great time to catch it is when the Farmer's Market is going on. You will never see such great produce in your life. Also you can head off State to the Urban Wine Trail to try some world... More

We loved walking up and down this street with its mix of restaurants, shops, malls. When you park in one of the many parking lots, you get 75 minutes free and then its $1.50 per hour, no issues with that. We ate at a number of restaurants up and down the street, did some shoppng at Abercrombie & Fitch, and... More

Take a walk on State street, starting at the pier. You'll find interesting shops--many one of a kind--some chains. Lots of restaurants. The street is lined with trees and benches. Very pretty. If you get tired, take the trolley. It's 25 cents for seniors.

Start at "Sterns Wharf" and walk or take the trolly as far as you like. You'll encounter every kind of restaurant, bar & shop. Then there's "Paseo Nuevo", a great outdoor mall, great foot massage businesses, a beautiful City Hall, wonderful historic theaters, the Granada and the Arlington, and a fantastic Farmers Market on Tuesdays at 4pm. You could spend... More

This is my third visit to State Street. I really enjoy all the little shops and restaurants. It is best to visit during the weekday as late in the evening and on weekends it gets a little crazy and crowded. Put on your strolling shoes and take the electric trolley.

This is the central point in Santa Bárbara; this is The most important street. Here you can in some of the best restaurants in town, there's also lots of activities during The months, the best place to shop and to have a drink at a friday or saturday night.

It's a great walk between stores and little malls. The nice thing about it, is that there are still many mom-and-pop stores amongst the big brand names. Great places to eat and parking is not too hard to find.
